Age Concern and Help the Aged team up
Age Concern England and Help the Aged have merged, creating a new super charity aimed at improving the lives of Britain’s older people.
A name has not yet been agreed for the new organisation, which will have an annual turnover of more than £150m.
According to a statement on Help the Aged’s website, the new organisation’s vision “is of a world where older people flourish, and we are listening to what older people want as we improve our services and activities so that we can achieve this vision.”
